So close to moving in!

Lots of progress has been made on the house over the past few weeks.  We now have electricity and water - movin on up!  Our goal move-in date was by Thanksgiving, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen.  We are aiming to move the weekend of December 12 if all of the paperwork can get done by then.

Something else super huge happened this month - our first baby goat was born!  Opal had a baby girl on November 1st - we named her Carly.  We had a little drama with a poopy butt that Opal wasn't taking care of (I mean, I really can't blame her), so I was going out to the farm every morning and evening that first week, but after only a few days, the situation resolved itself.

Here's some pics from this month:

Got the back deck on

Electricity box I think... ?? :)

Got the porch fans installed

Future kitchen - electricity on!

I think this is the most beautiful hen!  (Don't pay attention to the mud splatter, it rained for 10 days in a row and got pretty nasty)

Check out that fireplace!!  And the lovely fireplace model :)

They sealed the floors - we decided to go with a natural finish - we're both really happy with the way they look

Love it!

Ezra's cool war plane fan

They put the apron front sink in, but it's not positioned correctly yet so it's hard to see

Love the laundry room

Looking into the den from the kitchen eating area

They got the railing up!

Have you hugged a baby goat today?

Ezra showing Big B some love

Preparing for the big move of the red building down the hill - I requested that we move the wind mill so Jason and Ezra took up the stakes

We spent 5 hours cleaning out the red building so we can move it away from the front of our new house - landscaping starts tomorrow!!

Unfortunately it looks a little rough now, but we'll get everything moved back into the red building soon enough.
